ABBEY CONSORT was the brain child of the late Colin Fox who wished to form a choir to perform works from the Early and Baroque repertoire, involving instrumentalists as well as singers. The first rehearsal was in January 2002 in the Abbey Row Centre, Kelso and the first performance was on Good Friday 2002 when Bach's St. Luke Passion was presented. When Colin retired as musical director in 2015 James Letham (our current musical director) was appointed .
